The body‐centered‐cubic lattice structures from magnesium alloy WE43 with high relative material density (99.5%), fine microstructure, high mechanical properties (effective elastic modulus of 136 MPa), and material properties (Young's modulus of 40 GPa) are produced by laser beam powder bed fusion using hatch strategy with skywriting.

Abstract A Bayesian inversion methodology is proposed that inverts angle‐stacked 4D seismic maps to changes in pressure, water saturation and gas saturation. The inversion method is applied to data from a siliciclastic reservoir in the west of Shetlands, UK continental shelf.

Permanent Plasma Surface Functionalization of Internal Surface Areas
With applications in various fields including biomedical sciences, textiles, or filter industry, stable functionalization of porous membranes is indispensable. Plasma‐activated species with specific reactivities infiltrate porous substrates at different penetration depths due to their distinct energies and diffusivities.

Using QCM‐D for Real‐Time Analysis of Cell Adhesion Dynamics at Biointerfaces
This study explores adhesion of human fibroblasts to functionalized biomaterial surfaces. Quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) is used to measure cell responses in real time. The QCM‐D signalis correlated with changes in cell morphology and focal adhesion kinase (FAK) activation. This data shows a positive correlation between the energy

Roof Damage Assessment from Automated 3D Building Models [PDF]
The 3D building modelling is important in urban planning and related domains that draw upon the content of 3D models of urban scenes. Such 3D models can be used to visualize city images at multiple scales from individual buildings to entire cities prior to and after a change has occurred.

Deterministic Linear Time Constrained Triangulation using Simplified Earcut [PDF]
Triangulation algorithms that conform to a set of non-intersecting input segments typically proceed in an incremental fashion, by inserting points first, and then segments. Inserting a segment amounts to: (1) deleting all the triangles it intersects; (2) filling the so generated hole with two polygons that have the wanted segment as shared edge; (3 ...

NF2 is Essential for Human Endoderm Development
This study demonstrates that NF2, moesin‐ezrin‐radixin like (MERLIN) tumor suppressor (NF2) is essential for human endoderm formation. NF2 knockout human induced pluripotent stem cells fail to form endoderm both in vitro and in vivo due to yes‐associated protein 1 (YAP1) nuclear translocation, redirecting differentiation toward myofibroblast‐like cells.

On approximations to minimum link visibility paths in simple polygons [PDF]
We investigate a practical variant of the well-known polygonal visibility path (watchman) problem. For a polygon $P$, a minimum link visibility path is a polygonal visibility path in $P$ that has the minimum number of links. The problem of finding a minimum link visibility path is NP-hard for simple polygons.
