Discrete curvature approximations and segmentation of polyhedral surfaces [PDF]
The segmentation of digitized data to divide a free form surface into patches is one of the key steps required to perform a reverse engineering process of an object.

Potential-Controlled Ammonium-Assisted Reversible Electrodeposition of Polyoxometalates for Hybrid Redox Flow Batteries. [PDF]
Potential‐controlled NH4+‐assisted reversible electrodeposition of molecular metal oxide clusters enables dynamic solution‐to‐solid electron storage. Leveraging this deposition/dissolution reaction chemistry, polyoxometalate‐based hybrid flow batteries are demonstrated as a new platform for deposition‐based electrochemical energy storage.

Using polyhedral models to automatically sketch idealized geometry for structural analysis [PDF]
Simplification of polyhedral models, which may incorporate large numbers of faces and nodes, is often required to reduce their amount of data, to allow their efficient manipulation, and to speed up computation.

The homotopy type of the polyhedral product for shifted complexes [PDF]
We prove a conjecture of Bahri, Bendersky, Cohen and Gitler: if K is a shifted simplicial complex on n vertices,X1,...,Xn are pointed connected CW-complexes and CXi is the cone on Xi, then the polyhedral product determined by K and the pairs (C Xi , Xi )

Identifying and remeshing contact interfaces in a polyhedral assembly for digital mock-up applications [PDF]
Polyhedral models are widely used for applications such as manufacturing, digital simulation or visualization. They are discrete models; easy to store, to manipulate, allowing levels of resolution for visualization.

Rigidity of polyhedral surfaces, III [PDF]
This paper investigates several global rigidity issues for polyhedral surfaces including inversive distance circle packings. Inversive distance circle packings are polyhedral surfaces introduced by P. Bowers and K. Stephenson as a generalization of Andreev-Thurston's circle packing.

Discrete conformal equivalence of polyhedral surfaces [PDF]
This paper describes a numerical method for surface parameterization, yielding maps that are locally injective and discretely conformal in an exact sense. Unlike previous methods for discrete conformal parameterization, the method is guaranteed to work for any manifold triangle mesh, with no restrictions on triangulatiothat each task can ...
