Inhibitor of DNA binding‐1 is a key regulator of cancer cell vasculogenic mimicry

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Elevated expression of transcriptional regulator inhibitor of DNA binding 1 (ID1) promoted cancer cell‐mediated vasculogenic mimicry (VM) through regulation of pro‐angiogenic and pro‐cancerous genes (e.g. VE‐cadherin (CDH5), TIE2, MMP9, DKK1). Higher ID1 expression also increased metastases to the lung and the liver.

Evolution of crosslinking networks structure and thermo-oxidative aging behavior of unfilled NR/BR blends with TBIR as extra functional compatibilizer

open access: yesPolymer Testing, 2022
As the most popular rubber blends in rubber industry, the aging behaviors of NR/BR vulcanizates have been a major challenge in science and industry. Our previous work reported the substitution of trans-1,4-poly (isoprene-co-butadiene) (TBIR) for BR in ...

Constrained Nonlinear Model Predictive Control of an MMA Polymerization Process via Evolutionary Optimization [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2015
In this work, a nonlinear model predictive controller is developed for a batch polymerization process. The physical model of the process is parameterized along a desired trajectory resulting in a trajectory linearized piecewise model (a multiple linear model bank) and the parameters are identified for an experimental polymerization reactor.

Early metastasis is characterized by Gr1+ cell dysregulation and is inhibited by immunomodulatory nanoparticles

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Breast cancer metastasis is associated with myeloid cell dysregulation and the lung‐specific accumulation of tumor‐supportive Gr1+ cells. Gr1+ cells support metastasis, in part, through a CHI3L1‐mediated mechanism, which can be targeted and inhibited with cargo‐free, polymeric nanoparticles.

Physical Properties of Sulfur Near the Polymerization Transition [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
Acoustical measurements, electron spin resonance, and Raman spectroscopy have been employed to probe sulfur over the temperature range 80 to 180 C, which includes the polymerization transition and the supercooled liquid state. Acoustical properties (sound velocity, absorption and impedance) have been studied with both longitudinal and transverse waves ...

Dialkylaluminium 2-imidazolylphenolates: Synthesis, characterization and ring-opening polymerization behavior towards lactides [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
The stoichiometric reaction of the 2-imidazolylphenols (L1–L9) with the trialkylaluminium reagents AlR₃ (R = Me, Et and iBu), afforded the corresponding dialkylaluminium 2-imidazolylphenolate complexes [R₂Al(L1–L9)] (C1–C11), which were characterized by ...

CD44v, S1PR1, HER3, MET and cancer‐associated amino acid transporters are promising targets for the pancreatic cancers characterized using mAb

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Novel mAbs could detect cancer‐associated membrane proteins on various type of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinomas (PDAC) by flow cytometry with viable PDAC cells and by immunohistochemistry with PDAC tissues. Results of protein expression were substantiated by mRNA expression by The Cancer Genome Atlas.
