Alkene polymerization reactions with transition metal catalysts /
During the past 30 years, the field of alkene polymerization over transition metal catalysts underwent several major changes: 1. The list of commercial heterogeneous Ziegler-Natta catalysts for the synthesis of polyethylene and stereoregular polyolefins ...

Polymerization-Induced Self-Assembly (PISA) Using ICAR ATRP at Low Catalyst Concentration
Polymerization-induced self-assembly (PISA) was achieved by conducting an initiators for continuous activator regeneration atom transfer radical polymerization (ICAR ATRP) at low ppm of copper catalyst concentration. A poly(oligo(ethylene oxide) methyl

A new class of polymers, which have a double-stranded polybinorbornene skeleton with multilayer planar oligoaryl linkers, defined as polymeric ladderphanes, are synthesized. The structures of these ladderphanes are determined by spectroscopic means. Photophysical studies and time-resolved fluorescence spectroscopic investigations reveal that there is a

Matrix metalloproteinase‐9 (MMP9) drives ovarian cancer progression. Using MMP9‐null cells (M9‐KO) created from ovarian cancer cells, we found MMP9 loss did not block Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF)‐driven E‐cadherin dissolution or EMT but delayed and reduced EGF‐driven membrane protrusions. Transient MMP9 re‐expression drove membrane protrusion.

Bisphenol A (BPA), a common chemical in plastics, exerts dual effects on bladder cancer cells: low doses promote growth and migration, while high doses suppress growth and migration. Multi‐omics and bioinformatics reveal BPA acts via MAPK and inflammatory pathways.

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Polymerization of isobutylene using a new type of catalyst system
We studied isobutylene polymerization in the presence and/or absence of Phillips type catalyst. Phillips type catalyst (Chromium on silica surface) was activated under oxygen flow at 600oC.
