Local quadratic convergence of polynomial-time interior-point methods for conic optimization problems [PDF]
In this paper, we establish a local quadratic convergence of polynomial-time interior-point methods for general conic optimization problems. The main structural property used in our analysis is the logarithmic homogeneity of self-concordant barrier ...

A Smart Fluid‐Hydraulic System Based on MRF Valve Control and Its Application in Flexible Grasping
This study introduces a smart fluid hydraulic system using MRF valve control for flexible gripping. An MRF‐MSV with an integrated excitation coil and micro‐textured damping channels is designed and validated; micro‐texturing increases hydraulic resistance. Coupled with a soft actuator, the MRF‐MSV enables dynamic bending and grasping.

Multi-threshold algorithm about image segmentation based on polynomial uniform approximation
Aiming at those shortcomings of previous multi-threshold image segmentation algorithm such as large complexity and instability caused by the image histogram glitch interference,a new multi-threshold image segmentation algorithm was proposed using ...

Antenna Array Design in MIMO Radar Using NSK Polynomial Factorization Algorithm
The work presented here is concerned with the antenna array design in collocated multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radars. After knowing the system requirements, the antenna array design problem is formulated as a standard polynomial factorization ...

Model‐Based Time‐Modulated Write Algorithm for 1R Analog Memristive Crossbar Arrays
A novel model‐based time‐modulated write algorithm efficiently programs analog 1R memristive crossbar arrays by varying pulse duration at a fixed voltage. By leveraging a physics‐based compact model and a dynamic gain mechanism, this approach overcomes device nonlinearities and parasitic effects.

Rational approximation of discrete data with asymptomatic behaviour [PDF]
This thesis is concerned with the least-squares approximation of discrete data that appear to exhibit asymptotic behaviour. In particular, we consider using rational functions as they are able to display a number of types of asymptotic behaviour.

Algorithm for finding terms of a polynomial [PDF]
Polynomial models are often used in the Regression Analysis. There are many methods to generate the terms of those

Physical reservoir computing (PRC) based on spin wave interference has demonstrated high computational performance, yet room for improvement remains. In this study, we fabricated this concept PRC with eight detectors and evaluated the impact of the number of detectors using a chaotic time series prediction task.
