Invariant differential polynomials

open access: yesChebyshevskii Sbornik
Based on the method proposed in the article for solving the so-called (𝑟, 𝑠)-systems of linear equations proven that the orders of homogeneous invariant differential operators 𝑛 of smooth real functions of one variable take values from 𝑛 to (𝑛(𝑛+1))/2 , and the dimension of the space of all such operators does not exceed 𝑛!.

The F-polynomial invariant for knotoids

open access: yesJournal of Knot Theory and Its Ramifications
As a generalization of the classical knots, knotoids deal with the open ended knot diagram in a surface. In recent years, many polynomial invariants for knotoids appeared, such as the bracket polynomial, the index polynomial and the [Formula: see text]th polynomial.

Humid‐Air Condensation Heat Transfer on Hierarchical Structured Superhydrophobic Graphite Composites

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Humid‐air condensation on graphite composites shows that making a surface superhydrophobic is not sufficient to enhance heat transfer. A hierarchical CuO/lauric‐acid coating yields spherical droplets but promotes Wenzel‐type pinning and adds effective thermal resistance under operation.

A Comparative Study on Early‐Stage Icing Evaluation Techniques for Passive Ice Protection Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
This study addresses the lack of standardized methodologies for evaluating the early‐stage icing performance of passive ice protection systems. A unified experimental protocol is proposed and applied to representative hydrophilic and hydrophobic surfaces under controlled conditions.

Pattern Formation in Non‐Equilibrium Architected Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This article demonstrates an artificial mechanical system ‐ a robotic metamaterial ‐ as an accessible and versatile platform within which to explore and prescribe the reaction‐diffusion driven pattern formation hitherto associated with comparatively less accessible and versatile non‐equilibrium biological and chemical systems.

Characterization of Droplet Formation in Ultrasonic Spray Coating: Influence of Ink Formulation Using Phase Doppler Anemometry and Machine Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This study explores how machine learning models, trained on small experimental datasets obtained via Phase Doppler Anemometry (PDA), can accurately predict droplet size (D32) in ultrasonic spray coating (USSC). By capturing the influence of ink complexity (solvent, polymer, nanoparticles), power, and flow rate, the model enables precise droplet control

Passive Shape‐Adaptive Fluidic Interface for Enhanced Skin‐Sensor Coupling in Wearable Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This study presents a passive fluidic interface for wearable biosensors that adapts to static and dynamic body shape changes to maintain consistent skin contact. Flexible, fluid‐filled pouches redistribute pressure from high‐load areas to regions requiring improved contact, enhancing signal quality and comfort in a compact, low‐energy design for ...

A polynomial system of degree four with an invariant triangle containing at least four small amplitude limit cycles

open access: yesMiskolc Mathematical Notes
In this work, the existence of a polynomial system of degree four with an invariant triangle containing at least four small-amplitude limit cycles is proved. This result improves the result obtained in [2].

Formulation Method of Gain Calculation at Marginal Stability of a Linear Invariant Control Systems

open access: yesApplications of Modelling and Simulation, 2023
The stability analysis of a linear invariant control system is based mainly on its characteristic equation. There are various methods to examine, to do analysis, and to design a control system. Those methods become less effective and more complicated for
