T4 polynucleotide ligase catalyzed joining on triple-stranded nucleic acids

Biochemistry, 1978
dT1O will form triple-stranded complexes with dAn and these complexes can serve as substrate for T4 polynucleotide ligase (EC 6.5.1.1). The rate of phosphodiester formation was found to be approximately the same as for the double-stranded complex and, furthermore, the rate appears to be similar on the two strands in the complex.

Chromatin conformation modulates repair of single strand interruptions by polynucleotide ligase-[3H]AMP

Chemico-Biological Interactions, 1981
Conformationally distinct chromatin populations were utilized as substrates to quantitate the relative amount of and accessibility of internal 5'-phosphomonoester breaks in DNA-chromatin. In these studies, a constant amount of chromatin as well as deproteinized DNA derived from the respective chromatin sample was titrated with increasing quantities of ...

Solid-phase synthesis of oligoribonucleotides using T4 RNA ligase and T4 polynucleotide kinase

Biochimie, 1995
The concept of solid-phase synthesis of oligoribonucleotides using T4 RNA ligase and T4 polynucleotide kinase has been proposed and tested with model homo-oligoribonucleotides. The method consists of the immobilization of the first oligomer block at the 3'-terminus on a solid support followed by a chain elongation in the 5'-direction with trinucleoside

DNA replication by phage T4 rII mutants without polynucleotide ligase (gene 30)

Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications, 1969
Abstract In phage T4-infected E. coli , the polynucleotide ligase coded for by T4 gene 30 is not required for DNA replication and phage production when the infecting phage is an rII mutant. The wild-type T4 rII gene product may be a nuclease or control a nuclease activity.

Alkaline phosphatase, T4 polynucleotide kinase, T4 DNA ligase

2007
Alkalna fosfataza katalizira reakciju uklanjanja fosfatne skupine.
