Clinical Features of Cellular Senescence Pathways in Severe Asthma
Allergy, EarlyView. In bronchial biopsies, SASP and p53 pathway enrichment scores are elevated in severe asthma versus non‐severe asthma and healthy controls. SASP enrichment is validated in the independent NOVA cohort. SASP enrichment is also elevated in nasal brushings of participants with nasal polyps, independently of asthma status.Woo‐Jung Song, Nazanin Zounemat Kermani, Ali Versi, Stephany Sánchez‐Ovando, Jodie Louise Simpson, Peter A. Allergy, EarlyView. Both Full and Limited FESS result in clinically meaningful relief of disease‐specific HRQoL and nasal breathing, effectively improving nasal symptoms and sleep disturbance in CRSwNP patients. Clinically meaningful difference in decrease of SNOT‐22 scores between the groups was not found at 12‐ and 24–month follow‐up.P. Virkkula, S. Hammarén‐Malmi, A. Laulajainen‐Hongisto, M. Lilja, J. Alimentary Pharmacology &Therapeutics, EarlyView.Among 211 prospectively followed Swiss patients with eosinophilic oesophagitis, chronic rhinosinusitis was two‐ to three‐fold more common than in the general population. It was associated with greater oesophageal symptom severity and, in a quarter of cases, was experienced by patients as more debilitating than the underlying oesophageal disease ...Gebhardt Aidan, Kreienbühl Andrea, Greuter Thomas, Schlag Christoph, Nennstiel Simon, Saner Catherine, Rossel Jean‐Benoit, Mauthe Tina, M.
