Dynamical Modelling and Optimal Control of Conjunctivitis Epidemic
Conjunctivitis disease was modelled using a deterministic modelling approach, with the dynamics presented by the compartments in the flowchart. The results showed that intervention D is the best cost‐effectiveness policy. ABSTRACT In this study, we develop a mathematical model for conjunctivitis transmission dynamics.

ABSTRACT In this study, we investigate the synergistic roles of adoptive T cell therapy (ACT), specifically using tumor‐infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) and oncolytic virus (OV) therapy in enhancing cancer treatment efficacy. While OVs can initiate tumor destruction, they often fail to achieve complete tumor eradication or generate a strong antitumor ...

Optimal Control of a Harmonic Oscillator with Parametric Excitation
This paper addresses the time-optimal control problem for a harmonic oscillator characterized by a time-dependent frequency. The primary objective is to determine the minimal time required to transition the system from an initial state, defined by a ...

Curvature‐dimension condition of sub‐Riemannian α$\alpha$‐Grushin half‐spaces
Abstract We provide new examples of sub‐Riemannian manifolds with boundary equipped with a smooth measure that satisfy the RCD(K,N)$\mathsf {RCD}(K, N)$ condition. They are constructed by equipping the half‐plane, the hemisphere and the hyperbolic half‐plane with a two‐dimensional almost‐Riemannian structure and a measure that vanishes on their ...

ABSTRACT This study explores existence of hydra effect and sustainable harvesting strategies in three species food chain system with all‐purpose Holling type response functions (HT‐I, II, III, and IV). The hydra effect (as mentioned in Sieber and Hilker 2012) is superficially ecological paradox which refers to an increase of a species population size ...

ABSTRACT As a consequence of climate change, the encroachment of the native species Empetrum nigrum (crowberry) is exerting multifaceted effects on the Arctic socio‐ecological system in Norway. The native invader detrimentally affects the quality of the reindeer grazing land, yet is beneficial for carbon sequestration, that is, providing both ecosystem

Optimal‐Control Techniques for Managing Dengue Outbreaks: An Advanced Mathematical Modeling
ABSTRACT Dengue remains a major public health threat in tropical and subtropical regions. We develop a general human–vector SEIR–SEI optimal‐control framework that integrates four time‐dependent interventions: public awareness/behavioral protection, u1(t)${{u}_1}( t )$, enhanced clinical management u2(t)${{u}_2}( t )$, adulticide spraying u3(t)${{u}_3}(
