The relationship between iodine intake and serum thyroglobulin in the general population.
The relationship is shown between a concentration of urinary iodine and serum thyroglobulin in population studies carried out on a general population that was randomly selected from the registry of the General Health Insurance Company (individuals aged 6-

Food Consumption Data as a Tool to Estimate Exposure to Mycoestrogens
Zearalenone and alternariol are mycotoxins produced by Fusarium and Alternaria species, respectively, that present estrogenic activity and consequently are classified as endocrine disruptors. To estimate the exposure of the Portuguese population to these

Adaptaquin selectively kills glioma stem cells while sparing differentiated brain cells. Transcriptomic and proteomic analyses show Adaptaquin disrupts iron and cholesterol homeostasis, with iron chelation amplifying cytotoxicity via cholesterol depletion, mitochondrial dysfunction, and elevated reactive oxygen species.

Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).

Liquid biopsy epigenetics: establishing a molecular profile based on cell‐free DNA
Cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) fragments in plasma from cancer patients carry epigenetic signatures reflecting their cells of origin. These epigenetic features include DNA methylation, nucleosome modifications, and variations in fragmentation. This review describes the biological properties of each feature and explores optimal strategies for harnessing cfDNA ...

Intein‐based modular chimeric antigen receptor platform for specific CD19/CD20 co‐targeting
CARtein is a modular CAR platform that uses split inteins to splice antigen‐recognition modules onto a universal signaling backbone, enabling precise, scarless assembly without re‐engineering signaling domains. Deployed here against CD19 and CD20 in B‐cell malignancies, the design supports flexible multi‐antigen targeting to boost T‐cell activation and
