Porcine Deltacoronavirus-Related Viruses in House Sparrows

Porcine deltacoronavirus (PDCoV) is an emerging enteric pathogen in pigs and a newly recognized zoonotic coronavirus in humans. Genetic analyses suggest that PDCoV originated from avian deltacoronaviruses, with sparrow deltacoronaviruses (SpDCoVs) being the most closely related.
