Tunable Rectification in 2D Porphyrinic Metal–Organic Framework Nanosheets Molecular Heterojunctions

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
The rectification characteristics can be tuned by the molecular length of oligophenylene thiols self‐assembled monolayers (OPT SAMs) and the coordinated metal atom in porphyrinic 2D metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) in demolecular heterojunctions. Combining Kelvin probe force microscopy measurements and first‐principles calculations, it elucidates that ...

Bias Induced Ambipolar Transport in Organic Heterojunction Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Organic heterojunction sensors exploit the interfacial accumulation of mobile charges to impart an improved sensing characteristic to gases, such as ammonia. Herein, a particular configuration of organic heterojunction based on polyporphine and phthalocyanine is reported, which has two different types of organic‐organic interface.
