Dynamical Pose Estimation [PDF]
We study the problem of aligning two sets of 3D geometric primitives given known correspondences. Our first contribution is to show that this primitive alignment framework unifies five perception problems including point cloud registration, primitive (mesh) registration, category-level 3D registration, absolution pose estimation (APE), and category ...

Certifiable relative pose estimation [PDF]
In this paper we present the first fast optimality certifier for the non-minimal version of the Relative Pose problem for calibrated cameras from epipolar constraints. The proposed certifier is based on Lagrangian duality and relies on a novel closed-form expression for dual points.

Allocentric Pose Estimation [PDF]
The task of object pose estimation has been a challenge since the early days of computer vision. To estimate the pose (or viewpoint) of an object, people have mostly looked at object intrinsic features, such as shape or appearance. Surprisingly, informative features provided by other, external elements in the scene, have so far mostly been ignored.

Automated Pose Estimation in Primates
Understanding the behavior of primates is important for primatology, for psychology, and for biology more broadly. It is also important for biomedicine, where primates are an important model organism, and whose behavior is often an important variable of interest. Our ability to rigorously quantify behavior has, however, long been limited.

Research Progress of Deep Learning Methods in Two-dimensional Human Pose Estimation [PDF]
The task of human pose estimation is to locate and detect the key points of human body in images or videos. It has always been one of the hot research directions in the field of computer vision, and it is also a key step for computers to understand human ...

Recurrent Human Pose Estimation [PDF]
We propose a novel ConvNet model for predicting 2D human body poses in an image. The model regresses a heatmap representation for each body keypoint, and is able to learn and represent both the part appearances and the context of the part configuration.

Research Progress of Two-Dimensional Human Pose Estimation Based on Deep Learning [PDF]
The two-dimensional Human Pose Estimation(HPE) methods based on deep learning have attracted much attention for their application potential. The methods work by constructing a specific neural network architecture, and processing the extracted feature ...
