A Polyurethane‐Based Positive Photoresist

Macromolecular Rapid Communications, 2014
Polyurethane (PU) monomer mixtures containing commercially available o‐nitrobenzyl‐based photocleavable monomers have been formulated and tested as low‐cost positive tone photoresists. The photolysis reaction is studied by UV spectroscopy. Well‐defined micropatterns on 2 μm thick photodegradable PU films are obtained using 365 nm light exposure.

Full-rank orthonormal bases for conditionally positive definite kernel-based spaces [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Computational and Applied Mathematics
In kernel-based approximation, it is well-known that the direct approach to interpolation is prone to ill-conditioning of the interpolation matrix.

Position-based proxy signcryption

2015 IEEE/CIC International Conference on Communications in China (ICCC), 2015
Position-based cryptography has attracted lots of researchers' attentions. In mobile Internet, there are lots of position based security applications. For the first time, one new conception, position-based proxy signcryption is proposed. Based on a secure positioning protocol, one model of position-based proxy signcryption is proposed.

Positioning Based on Signals of Opportunity

IEEE Communications Letters, 2014
A novel approach to opportunistic positioning based on timing measurements is presented. The asynchronous radio transmissions from fixed stations and from mobile GPS-equipped nodes are jointly exploited to cooperatively localize a blind node. To this end, a weighted least-squares (WLS) estimator is proposed; its effectiveness is illustrated via ...

Position-based sequence weights

Journal of Molecular Biology, 1994
Sequence weighting methods have been used to reduce redundancy and emphasize diversity in multiple sequence alignment and searching applications. Each of these methods is based on a notion of distance between a sequence and an ancestral or generalized sequence.

Position-based fluid control

Proceedings of the 19th Symposium on Interactive 3D Graphics and Games, 2015
We present a novel fluid control method that is capable of driving particle-based fluid simulation to match a rapidly changing target while keeping natural fluid-like motion. To achieve the desired behavior, we first generate control particles by sampling the target shape and then apply a non-linear constraint to each control particle, with its ...

WiFi-based indoor positioning

IEEE Communications Magazine, 2015
Recently, several indoor localization solutions based on WiFi, Bluetooth, and UWB have been proposed. Due to the limitation and complexity of the indoor environment, the solution to achieve a low-cost and accurate positioning system remains open. This article presents a WiFibased positioning technique that can improve the localization performance from ...

Informed position based watermarking

Proceedings. 17th Brazilian Symposium on Computer Graphics and Image Processing, 2004
In this work we propose improvements to the preliminary investigation on position based watermarking by proposing an informed insertion approach. In addition, we see how these modifications bring even higher fidelity in comparison to the original work, and how the system may become reasonably robust to some common image processing operations. Regarding

Analysis of position based watermarking

Pattern Analysis and Applications, 2006
This paper extends the position based watermarking (PBW) technique introduced by Borges and Mayer (Position based watermarkings, 2003) and provides a detailed performance analysis considering additive white Gaussian noise and collusion attacks. We significantly improve the tradeoff between fidelity and robustness of our previous research on this ...
