Integer Factorization of a Positive-Definite Matrix [PDF]
This paper establishes that every positive-definite matrix can be written as a positive linear combination of outer products of integer-valued vectors whose entries are bounded by the geometric mean of the condition number and the dimension of the matrix.

On mixed discriminants of positively definite matrix
In the paper, some new inequalities for the mixed discriminants of positively definite matrix are established, which are the matrix analogues of inequalities of the well-known mixed volumes function.

Fundamental Solution of Elliptic Equation with Positive Definite Matrix Coefficient
In this paper, we study the fundamental solution of elliptic equations with real constant coefficients where is a positive definite matrix. We obtained by searching the radial solution so that we solved the equation into ordinary differential equations.

On the positive definite solutions of a nonlinear matrix equation [PDF]
In this paper, the nonlinear matrix equation is investigated. Based on the fixed-point theory, the boundary and the existence of the solution with the case are discussed. An algorithm that avoids matrix inversion with the case is proposed.

Positive Definite Solutions of the Matrix Equation Xr-∑i=1mAi∗X-δiAi=I
We investigate the nonlinear matrix equation Xr-∑i=1mAi∗X-δiAi=I, where r is a positive integer and δi∈(0,1], for i=1,2,…,m. We establish necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of positive definite solutions of this equation.

A note on fixed point method and linear complementarity problem
In this article, we present a general form of the fixed point method for processing the large and sparse linear complementarity problem, as well as a general condition for the method's convergence when the system matrix is a \(P\)-matrix and some ...

Use of suggested correlation matrix in factor analysis [PDF]
some variables may have nominal or ordinal scale, this causes a failure of analyzing the Pearson's correlation matrix by factor analysis. However, it was suggested to replace the elements of the correlation matrix by correlation coefficients which should

Best Proximity Point and Existence of the Positive Definite Solution for Matrix Equations
In this research, α − ψ − θ contraction has been defined to find the best proximity point in partially ordered metric spaces. Proper support for the result has been given in the form of a suitable example.
