Interaction of HS1BP3 with cortactin modulates TKS5 localisation, cell secretion and cancer malignancy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

LES EFFETS POSITIFS DE LA PANDEMIE CORONAVIRUS SUR L’ENVIRONNEMENT

open access: yesRevue Economie, Gestion et Société, 2020
The succession of economic crises since 1929 has shown that when the economy is bad, the ecology is good, and vice versa. In other words, the negative externality of our activities on the environment only reach their lowest level in times of crises, and ...

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Wetlands Retention and Optimal Management of Waterfowl Habitat under Climate Change

open access: yesJournal of Agricultural and Resource Economics, 2014
We develop a positive mathematical programming model to investigate the impact of climate change on land use in the prairie pothole region of western Canada, with particular focus on wetlands retention. We examine the effect of climate change and biofuel

MONETIZATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL EXTERNALITIES FOR ECONOMIC ANALYSIS. CASE STUDY: URBAN MOBILITY IN ORADEA [PDF]

open access: yesAnnals of the University of Oradea: Economic Science, 2021
One of the main limitations identified in the specialized literature is represented by the insufficient quantification of the environmental externalities in the process of carrying out the economic analysis within the cost-benefit analysis for the urban ...

Skill Signalling with Product Market Externality

open access: yes
We propose that signalling in professional labour markets creates product market externalities that affect wages, thus establishing a link between the externality and signalling incentives.

Externality Cost of Capital Investment in Limited Commitment [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We study externality costs of capital investment under limited commitment. We solve for the constrained efficient allocation with a limited commitment environment and find positive externality costs of capital investment provided that full-risk-sharing ...

DNA methylation and expression of MAPRE3 affect overall survival of early‐stage non‐small cell lung cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Both cg12821679MAPRE3 methylation and MAPRE3 expression are significantly associated with overall survival (OS) of non‐small cell lung cancer. Meanwhile, MAPRE3 expression significantly modified the effect of smoking cessation on OS. Smoking cessation benefits OS merely for patients with high MAPRE3 expression.
