Entrepreneurship Experience and Environmental and Social Sustainability in New Companies

ABSTRACT Using survey data on a large sample of European small and medium‐sized enterprises (SMEs), we examine the effect of entrepreneurship experience on environmental and social sustainability (ESS) in new companies. Estimations suggest that experienced entrepreneurs are more engaged in ESS compared to those without previous experience.
