A case of eosinophilic esophagitis discovered with positron emission tomography imaging: a case report [PDF]
INTRODUCTION: Eosinophilic esophagitis was first reported in 1978, and since then it has been increasingly recognized as one of the major etiologies for dysphagia, food impaction, and food regurgitation.

Defects in Inorganic Mechanoluminescent Phosphors: Insights and Impacts
Mechanoluminescence is attracting more attention recently, and defect dominates mechanoluminescence performances. Investigating how defects work in the mechanoluminescence process is crucial for elucidating its complex luminescence mechanism. This review aims to emphasize the fundamental role of defects in mechanoluminescence, which offers an ...

Selective and Efficient Quantum State Tomography and its Application to Quantum Process Tomography [PDF]
We present a method for quantum state tomography that enables the efficient estimation, with fixed precision, of any of the matrix elements of the density matrix of a state, provided that the states from the basis in which the matrix is written can be efficiently prepared in a controlled manner.

Tomography of parametrized quantum states [PDF]
Characterizing quantum systems is a fundamental task that enables the development of quantum technologies. Various approaches, ranging from full tomography to instances of classical shadows, have been proposed to this end. However, quantum states that are being prepared in practice often involve families of quantum states characterized by continuous ...

Micro‐ and Nano‐Bots for Infection Control
This review presents a strategic vision for integrating micro‐ and nanobots in the pipeline for infection diagnosis, prevention, and treatment. To develop these robots as a practical solution for infection management, their design principles are clarified based on their propulsion mechanisms and then categorized infection management domains based on ...
