Light induced phenomena in new polymeric thin films based on aminostyrene

open access: yesMoldavian Journal of the Physical Sciences, 2006
The light-induced modification of mechanical and optical properties of several amino- styrene-containing polymers has been investigated. The nano- and microindentation techniques were used for determination of mechanical parameters.

Hydrogen-Induced Microstructure Changes in Zr/Nb Nanoscale Multilayer Structures

open access: yesMetals
Zr/Nb nanoscale multilayer coatings (NMCs) were studied after hydrogenation in a gaseous environment at 400 °C. The hydrogen distribution and content were determined by pressure and hydrogenation time.

Detection of deuterium trapping sites in tungsten by thermal desorption spectroscopy and positron annihilation spectroscopy

open access: yesNuclear Materials and Energy, 2016
Thermal desorption spectroscopy (TDS) of tungsten implanted with D2+ ions was performed after irradiation with 8 MeV-electrons, 5.0keV-D2+, and 6.0 MeV-Fe3+. The release peak temperatures of the TDS spectra are discussed.

Influence of oversized atoms X = Ti, Ta, W, Mo on the dynamics of native defects under annealing in Fe35Cr35V20Cu5-(X) HEA studied by positron annihilation spectroscopy (PAS)

open access: yesNuclear Engineering and Technology
The dynamics of native defects in the high entropy alloy family produced by arc melting Cu5Cr35Fe35V20X5 (at. %), where X = Ti, Ta, W or Mo corresponds to oversized atoms, were studied using positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy (PALS) and ...
