Management of concussion and post-concussion syndrome
Current Treatment Options in Neurology, 2006Concussion and mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) are common clinical problems. However, the literature is not consistent in defining how concussion and mTBI are related. Although most patients with concussion recover within days to weeks, approximately 10% develop persistent signs and symptoms of post-concussion syndrome (PCS).

Brain Injury, 1995Neuropsychological functioning and level of subjective symptomatology was assessed in 15 adults at 2 weeks, 1 month, and 3 months post-concussion. Performance by the concussion subjects was compared to the results obtained by a matched group of normal controls.
