ABSTRACT Background Diffuse‐type tenosynovial giant cell tumor (D‐TGCT) is an uncommon synovial neoplasm. Hip involvement is rare and may be difficult to recognize because symptoms are nonspecific and osseous erosion can mimic more aggressive infectious, inflammatory, or neoplastic processes.
