99mTc-DTPA and 131I-hippuran findings in liver transplant recipients treated with cyclosporin A. [PDF]
The effects of cyclosporin A (CyA), an immunosuppressive agent that is potentially nephrotoxic, on the kidneys of 9 liver transplant recipients were studied with serial 99mTc-DTPA and 131I-hippuran scans.

Post‐surgical tumor therapy struggles with recurrence and inefficient healing. Anti‐tumor DNA aptamer functionalized gelatin hydrogels, Apt‐GelMA, simultaneously address both issues by suppressing tumor regrowth via targeted tumor cell inhibition and enhancing wound healing through improved cell adhesion and migration. Their biocompatibility, stability,

The covalent binding of dexamethasone to the surface of polyimide represents the electrically inert part of implantable intraneural devices. This ensures a sustained release of the drug for 9 weeks. In vitro and in vivo tests confirm the reduction of the foreign body reactions and the improved biocompatibility of dexamethasone functionalized polyimide.

Nucleosomes in colorectal cancer patients during radiochemotherapy [PDF]
Apoptotic markers and tumor-associated antigens might be suitable to indicate the response to radiochemotherapy early. We analyzed the courses of nucleosomes, CEA, CA 19-9 and CYFRA 21-1 in 25 colorectal cancer patients during radiochemotherapy (4 ...
