Intermediate Resistive State in Wafer‐Scale Vertical MoS2 Memristors Through Lateral Silver Filament Growth for Artificial Synapse Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In MOCVD MoS2 memristors, a current compliance‐regulated Ag filament mechanism is revealed. The filament ruptures spontaneously during volatile switching, while subsequent growth proceeds vertically through the MoS2 layers and then laterally along the van der Waals gaps during nonvolatile switching.

Determination of Optimum Nitrogen and Potassium Levels for potato Production in Central high lands of Ethiopia

open access: yesOpen Agriculture, 2017
To determine the required levels of nitrogen and potassium, an experiment was conducted at Holetta Agricultural Research Center and Jeldu sub Center from 2014-2015 using three factors (Jalenie, Gudenie and Belete potato varies; 87, 110, 133kg/ha nitrogen

Density functional study of the adsorption of K on the Cu(111) surface

open access: yes, 2001
The adsorption of potassium on the Cu(111) surface in a 2x2 pattern has been simulated with all-electron full-potential density functional calculations. The top site is found to be the preferred adsorption site, with the other highly symmetric adsorption

Sustainable Catalyst‐Free PLG Networks: Recyclability, Biodegradability, and Functional Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A catalyst‐additive free covalent adaptable network is developed from star‐shaped poly(lactide‐co‐glycolide) cross‐linked with pyromellitic dianhydride, enabling internal carboxylic acid‐driven transesterification. The resulting biodegradable network exhibits mechanical robustness (Young's modulus ≈1.6 GPa), complete recyclability, rapid biodegradation

DETERMINAÇÃO DE POTÁSSIO EM ROCHAS SILICÁTICAS POR ESPECTROMETRIA DE EMISSÃO ATÔMICA COM CHAMA APÓS DISSOLUÇÃO ASSISTIDA POR ULTRASSOM

open access: yesQuímica Nova
This work presents the development of an analytical method for sample preparation aiming at the K determination in silicate rocks (basalt, monzogranite and shale fines) following ultrasound dissolution and analysis by F AES. Sample preparation method was

Mineral nutrition and its genetic signature in oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.): A possible panorama for high yielding materials at low fertiliser cost [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Significant differences in the mineral nutrition have been demonstrated between progenies and the main categories at PT Socfindo (Jacquemard et al, 2002). A new set of investigations has been conducted based on a larger genetic background.

Scalable Polyelectrolyte Complex‐Based Sorbent With Hourly Sorption−Desorption Cycles for Multicyclic Atmospheric Water Harvesting in Arid Environments

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A polyelectrolyte complex‐based sorbent is produced by scalable, environmentally benign aqueous phase inversion. Its porous, LiCl‐ and GO‐integrated architecture enables hourly adsorption−desorption cycles at low relative humidity (RH < 30%). A large‐scale prototype achieves multicyclic, solar‐driven atmospheric water harvesting of 1.37 L kg−1 day−1 ...

Bioinspired Stabilization of Fluorescent Au@SiO2 Tracers for Multimodal Biological Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates a bioinspired stabilization strategy for fluorescent gold‐silica nanoparticles. Inspired by natural biosilica maturation, high‐temperature calcination transforms the silica shells, preventing dissolution in cell culture media and intracellular environments.

Nucleation‐Controlled Reconstruction of CuOx for Selective CO2 Electroreduction

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The ratio of oxygen vacancies (Ov) and exposed Cu2O (111)/(200) of CuOx precatalyst is modulated by nucleation control of Cu(OH)2 precursor. Low Ov ratio and high ratio of Cu2O (111)/(200) in slow‐nucleated CuOx reconstructs to high‐coordinated oxide‐derived copper (OD‐Cu) during electrochemical CO2 reduction reaction (CO2RR) and exhibits enhanced ...
