The heat capacity of potassium ferrocyanide trihydrate (KFCT) and the anhydrous salt has been measured from 10 K to 300 K. The contribution made to the heat capacity of KFCT by the ferroelectric → paraelectric transition has been assessed (a) by using the heat capacity of the anhydrous salt as a reference, (b) by subtracting from the total heat ...

Recoilless fraction of potassium ferrocyanide
Nuclear Instruments and Methods, 1981Abstract The recoilless fraction of potassium ferrocyanide is determined from the observed line-widths. A parameter which describes the measure of the environmental inhomogeneity in the absorber crystal is also estimated.

For infrared spectra of trichydrated potassium ferrocyanide
Nouvelle Revue d'Optique, 1973The Far Infrared spectrum of hydrated and deuteriated potassium ferrocyanide from 10 to 250 cm-1 at 300 and 80 K, Shows the possibility of two crystallographic species at 300 K, one is known as tetragonal, the other as monoclinic and this one gives an additional band at 27 cm-1.

The amperometric determination of zinc with potassium ferrocyanide
Analytica Chimica Acta, 1954Abstract A procedure is described for the determination of zinc by amperomctric titration with potassium ferrocyanide. The reaction is carried out in a solution heated to approximately 65° C to obtain reproducible results. The method is suitable for application to a variety of zinc-containing materials including those of high zinc content.
