Viscosity and Molar Volume of Potassium Thiocyanate + Sodium Thiocyanate + Acetamide Melt Systems
Journal of Chemical & Engineering Data, 1998Density and viscosity of 0.25[xKSCN + (1 − x)NaSCN] + 0.75CH3CONH2 melt systems were measured as functions of temperature (293.15 ≤ T/K ≤ 343.15) and mole fraction, x = 0.0 to 1.0.

Determination of thiocyanate by potassium bromate
Fresenius' Zeitschrift fr Analytische Chemie, 1957Estimation of thiocyanate, based on its titration with standard KBrO3 solution in presence of 1.5–3.0 N hydrochloric acid, is described. The end point is determined either potentiometrically or with methyl orange as indicator.

Polarized Infrared Spectrum of Potassium Thiocyanate
The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1958The polarized infrared spectrum of crystalline potassium thiocyanate is reported in this paper. This additional information necessitates certain assignment changes in the observed vibrational frequencies from those previously reported. The vibrational spectrum now appears quite complete and in agreement with the crystal structure report of Klug.

Mixed alkali effect in sodium thiocyanate–potassium thiocyanate – acetamide melt systems
Canadian Journal of Chemistry, 1996Electrical conductivity and molar volume of the 0.25[xNaSCN + (1 −x)KSCN] + 0.75CH3CONH2 systems were measured as functions of temperature [Formula: see text] and composition (x = 0.0 – 1.0 mol fraction). Temperature dependence of the electrical conductivity was non-Arrhenius in nature and has been analysed by using the Vogel–Tammann–Fulcher (VTF ...

Mechanical Relaxations in Poly(ethylene) oxide – Potassium Thiocyanate Complexes
1992The temperature behavior of the internal friction and the dynamic modulus of polyethylene oxide (PEO)-KSCN polymeric electrolytes reveals the presence of low temperature relaxations and of the high temperature alpha-relaxation, respectively arising from local and cooperative molecular motions.
