The occurrence of potato mop top virus in Japan and its some properties.

open access: yesJapanese Journal of Phytopathology, 1986

Quantitative Evaluation of Potato mop-top virus in Soil Using Bait Plant Bioassay and\nMost Probable Number Method

open access: yes, 2016
The relative infestation level of Potato mop-top virus(PMTV), causal agent for spraing of potato, in soil was successfully evaluated. Fifty grams of soil were suspended in 200 ml of nutrient solution and the portion was diluted by 10-fold with a nutrient

Subcellular Localisation, Protein Interactions, and RNA Binding of Potato mop-top virus Triple Gene Block Proteins

open access: yes, 2002
Subcellular localisation, protein interactions, and RNA binding of the triple gene block proteins (TGBp) of Potato mop-top virus (PMTV) were studied. The 13-kDa (TGBp2) and 21-kDa (TGBp3) proteins with or without green fluorescent protein fused to their ...

Development of Laboratory Detection Protocols for Two Soil-Borne Potato Viruses, Potato Mop-Top Virus and Tobacco Rattle Virus

open access: yes, 2019
Potato mop-top virus (PMTV) and Tobacco rattle virus (TRV) are emerging potato pathogens in the United States. PMTV (Pomovirus: Virgaviridae) is a tripartite rod-shaped virus having single-stranded, positive-sense RNA genome encapsidated by a 19.7-kDa ...
