The effects of acute muscle damage and autoimmune disease on vascular function : the potential role of inflammation [PDF]
textInflammation has been implicated in the development of cardiovascular disease and a potential underlying mechanism in the pathogenesis of impaired vascular function. Two different but complementary approaches were utilized to determine the role of

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Gradient descent Sarsa(?)algorithm based on the adaptive potential function shaping reward mechanism
In the reinforcement leaning tasks with continuous state spaces, the algorithms are usually facing the problems of ill initial performance and low convergence speed. In order to solve these problems, the potential function shaping reward mechanism was ...

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Reciprocal Polarizable Embedding with a Transferable H2O Potential Function I: Formulation & Tests on Dimer [PDF]
This work describes a general energy functional formulation of a polarizable embedding QM/MM scheme, as well as an implementation where a real-space Grid-based Projector Augmented Wave (GPAW) DFT method is coupled with a potential function for H2O based ...

In this paper, we firstly establish a useful ODE relationship between R1(c) and V1(c) on the steady Ricci soliton. Based on this, we obtain a necessary and sufficient condition for some complete noncompact steady gradient Ricci solitons to have positive ...

State monitoring is very important for the safe operation of high-voltage transformers. A non-contact vibro-acoustic detection method based on the Blind Source Separation (BSS) was proposed in this paper to promote the development of transformer on-line ...

Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

Calculating potential growth rates and output gaps - A revised production function approach [PDF]
Any meaningful analysis of cyclical developments, of medium term growth prospects or of the stance of fiscal and monetary policies are all predicated on either an implicit or explicit assumption concerning the rate of potential output growth.
