On continuous ordinal potential games [PDF]

open access: yes
If the preferences of the players in a strategic game satisfy certain continuity conditions, then the acyclicity of individual improvements implies the existence of a Nash equilibrium.

BEOL‐Compatible Liquid‐Metal‐Printing of Ultrathin 2D Oxide Memtransistors and Its Applications in Neuromorphic Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Ultrathin 2D indium oxide memtransistors are reproducibly fabricated via a scalable liquid‐metal‐printing process under ambient, low‐temperature conditions. The devices achieve robust, gate‐tunable bipolar memristive switching with high switching ratios at a BEOL‐compatible maximum processing temperature of 300°C. Governed by trap‐controlled transport,

Utilitarian preferences and potential games [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
We study games with utilitarian preferences: the sum of individual utility functions is a generalized ordinal potential for the game. It turns out that generically, any finite game with a potential, ordinal potential, or generalized ordinal potential is better reply equivalent to a game with utilitarian preferences.

Swelling‐Programmed Topographical Guidance for Dynamic Spheroid Self‐Assembly via a Mechanochemical Hydrogel Niche

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A swelling‐programmed micropatterned hydrogel guides adherent cells through a controlled transition from cell–matrix anchoring to cadherin‐mediated cell–cell compaction, enabling rapid assembly of high‐viability spheroids with defined size and morphology.

Preliminary Study of a Ninj1‐Loaded Bimodal Ultrasound/NIR Fluorescence Targeted Molecular Probe for Diagnosing Early‐Stage Inflammation in Coronary Microvascular Dysfunction

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Coronary microvascular dysfunction (CMD) targeting remains a challenge for precise diagnosis. This work presents a dual‐modal nanoprobe (T‐IR780‐NBs) that combines ultrasound contrast with near‐infrared fluorescence. This technology utilizes proteomics‐derived antibodies that specifically localize to inflamed and injured cardiac tissue, enabling ...

[The choking game: a potentially lethal game].

open access: yesAnales de pediatria (Barcelona, Spain : 2003), 2011
Choking games are a known behaviour among adolescents, although they have not been reported in the Spanish scientific literature. They are games which seek a brief euphoria due to the restriction oxygen flow into the brain. The case of a 15 year-old adolescent boy who died in a room due to accidental hanging while playing the choking game is presented.

Coacervates Made of Elastin‐Like Polypeptides Fused with Melanocyte‐Stimulating Hormone and Monocyte Chemoattractant Protein Enhance Skin Wound Healing in Spinal Cord‐Injured Mice

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Pressure skin wounds are frequent complications after spinal cord injury (SCI), with impaired healing due to vascular and immune deficits. Elastin‐like polypeptides (ELP) fused to α‐MSH (MSH‐ELP) or MCP‐1 (MCP‐ELP) are developed and tested on these wounds. The resulting nanoparticles are non‐toxic and bioactive, and they enhance macrophage recruitment,

Distributed Games With Jumps: An Α-Potential Game Approach

open access: yes
Motivated by game-theoretic models of crowd motion dynamics, this paper analyzes a broad class of distributed games with jump diffusions within the recently developed $α$-potential game framework. We demonstrate that analyzing the $α$-Nash equilibria reduces to solving a finite-dimensional control problem.

Interfacial Bioengineering of Dynamic Networks Hybrid Hydrogel for Programmed Intervention in Oral Precancerous Epithelial States

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This study develops a dual‐bioinspired hydrogel, MSA@PGel (macrophage membrane‐coated and salvianolic acid B/5‐aminolevulinic acid co‐loaded liposomes embedded in a polydopamine‐based gel), that integrates macrophage membrane‐mediated active targeting and mussel‐inspired wet adhesion for programmed intervention in oral precancerous lesions.
