Resummation of Infrared Divergencies in the Theory of Atomic Bose Gases
We present a general strong-coupling approach for the description of an atomic Bose gas beyond the Bogoliubov approximation, when infrared divergences start to occur that need to be resummed exactly.

We investigate single and opposing silica plates, either bare of grafted, in contact with vacuum or melt phases, using self-consistent field theory. Solid–polymer and solid–solid nonbonded interactions are described by means of a Hamaker potential, in ...

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

pH‐mediated activation of the lysosomal arginine sensor SLC38A9
Cells monitor nutrient levels via the lysosomal transporter SLC38A9 to activate the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1). This study reveals that SLC38A9 function is regulated by pH. We identified histidine 544 as a critical pH sensor that undergoes conformational changes to control amino acid efflux from lysosomes; therefore, it ...

Nonlinear potential theory in Lebesque spaces with mixed norm
The classical potential theory for the Riesz kernel in the d-dimentional Euclidean space has been generalized in many different ways. We are here concerned with the L^p-potential theory which appeared around 1970 in papers by V.G. Maz'ya, V. P, Havin and

Ascidian Ciona larvae initially show strong clockwise tail twisting, which is largely corrected during development. However, a small residual twist remains. This study shows that organized helical myofibrils in tail muscles mechanically stabilize this residual asymmetry, preventing complete restoration of bilateral symmetry and revealing how embryos ...

Yukawa Potential, Panharmonic Measure and Brownian Motion
This paper continues our earlier investigation, where a walk-on-spheres (WOS) algorithm for Monte Carlo simulation of the solutions of the Yukawa and the Helmholtz partial differential equations (PDEs) was developed by using the Duffin correspondence. In

Septin 9 polybasic domains couple phosphoinositide‐rich membrane binding to centrosome positioning, Golgi organization, and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity. Their loss disrupts this axis, causing centrosome mispositioning, Golgi fragmentation, reduced microtubule acetylation, and polarity inversion via upregulation of the ...
