Potentiometric Titration of Polyelectrolytes

open access: yesKobunshi Kagaku, 1958

Lanthanide Monoporphyrinates and Complexes With a Schiff Base Derivative: Thermodynamic Stability and Bioimaging Capabilities

open access: yesChemistry–Methods, Volume 6, Issue 5, May 2026.
This study provides new data for the stability constants of lanthanide complexes using spectrometric methods with different approaches, considering the stability differences. Clinical applications ranging from magnetic resonance imaging to cancer therapy are more relying on the use of lanthanide coordination compounds.

The application of hydrogen-palladium electrode for potentiometric acid-base determinations in tetrahydrofuran [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
The application of the hydrogen-palladium electrode (H2/Pd) as the indicator electrode for the determination of relative acidity scale (Es, mV) of tetrahydrofuran (THF) and the potentiometric titrations of acids in this solvent was investigated.

Charge Regulation in Crowded Solutions of a Weak Polyelectrolyte: Steric Interactions

open access: yesIsrael Journal of Chemistry, Volume 66, Issue 3, May 2026.
Weak polyelectrolytes (WPE) solvated in biorelevant media and synthetic complex fluids that contain substantial concentrations of macromolecules, molecular assemblies, and nanoparticles are observed to exhibit deviations from the acid–base equilibrium observed in single‐component solutions.

Chitosan–Alginate Polyelectrolyte Systems: From Classical Release Models to the D‐PARMO Framework

open access: yesMacromolecular Materials and Engineering, Volume 311, Issue 5, May 2026.
Classical empirical models fail to predict the dynamic in vivo behavior of chitosan‐alginate nanocarriers. Bridging this translational gap, the novel D‐PARMO framework replaces purely descriptive curve‐fitting with a mechanistically informed operational model.
