Hot Consolidation of Titanium Powders
A novel method of the hot consolidation metal powders with shear deformation is proposed. The powders were encapsulated into tight containers and compacted after short-term heating in a furnace preheated to 900 °C.

The Measurement of the Thermal Properties and Absorptances of Powders Near their Melting Temperatures [PDF]
A new technique, using a laser as the heating source, has been adopted to measure the heat capacities, thermal diffusivities, thermal conductivities, and absorptances of powders (especially polymer powders) near their melting temperatures.
