Low-latency 100 Gb/s PAM-4 PON with a 42.5 dB power budget over the 20 km anti-resonant hollow-core fiber.

Optics Letters
The surging growth in data traffic has necessitated the development of higher-speed, lower-latency intensity modulation and direct detection (IM/DD) passive optical networks (PONs) with higher power budgets.

Thermal-sustainable power budgeting for dynamic threading

2014 51st ACM/EDAC/IEEE Design Automation Conference (DAC), 2014
As technology scales, thermal management for multi-core architectures becomes a critical challenge due to increased power density and higher integration density. Existing power budgeting techniques focus on maximizing performance under a given power budget by optimizing the core dynamics.

200G IM/DD Time-and-Polarization-Division-Multiplexed PON with >29dB Power Budget Using Boosted EML and APDs

Optical Fiber Communications Conference and Exhibition
We experimentally show feasibility of downstream 200 Gbit/s IM/DD TPDM PON system with >4 dB margin to 29 dB optical power budget based on two 100 Gbit/s polarization channels in a single wavelength window.

CBERS04A power supply simulation and power budget analysis

2017 Brazilian Power Electronics Conference (COBEP), 2017
The CBERS04A (China Brazil Earth Resource Satellite) is the sixth remote sensing satellite developed by Brazil and China. Its power supply subsystem is developed in Brazil, in a cooperation between INPE (Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais) and Brazilian industries, to manufacture solar panels, conditioning and distribution equipment.

Demonstration of 100-Gb/s/λ PAM-4 TDM-PON Supporting 29-dB Power Budget with 50-km Reach using 10G-class O-Band DML Transmitters

Optical Fiber Communications Conference and Exhibition, 2019
We experimentally demonstrated 100-Gb/s/λ PAM-4 TDM-PON downstream transmission in O-band using 10G-class DML and SOA pre-amplifier at the receivers. Power budget of 29 dB was achieved after 50-km transmission at pre-FEC BER threshold of 1×10−2.

EU Budget and Spending Powers

2023
Abstract This chapter is structured as follows. It first deals with the constitutional principles shaping the EU budget, examining whether the principles of fiscal federalism are amongst them. Secondly, it analyses the EU expenditures, considering how their composition has evolved over time and how the interinstitutional balance on the ...

400 Gbit/s Dual-Wavelength and Dual-Polarization IM-DD TDM-PON with 34 dB Power Budget

Optical Fiber Communications Conference and Exhibition
We demonstrate a 400G dual-wavelength dual-polarization IM-DD TDM-PON based on optical duobinary modulation with 34 dB back-to-back optical power budget. After 20 km of SSMF we find an optical path penalty below 1 dB.

200-Gb/s/λ PDM-PAM-4 PON with 29-dB Power Budget Based on Heterodyne Coherent Detection

Optical Fiber Communications Conference and Exhibition, 2019
The first single-wavelength 200-Gb/s PDM-PAM-4 PON is experimentally demonstrated in the C-band using Nyquist pulse shaping and heterodyne coherent detection. Over 29-dB power budget is achieved after 20-km SSMF fiber transmission.

Punctuated Budgets and Governors’ Institutional Powers

American Politics Research, 2009
State budgets are flexible: In the same year, some budget categories dramatically rise or fall, whereas others closely follow the previous year’s appropriation. Public policy scholars label a budget that contains mainly small scale changes interspersed with dramatic fluctuations as punctuated.
