We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).

Hardware implementation of antenna array system for maximum SLL reduction
Side lobe level (SLL) reduction has a great importance in recent communication systems. It is considered as one of the most important applications of digital beamforming since it reduces the effect of interference arriving outside the main lobe.

We developed and validated a DNA methylation–based biomarker panel to distinguish pleural mesothelioma from other pleural conditions. Using the IMPRESS technology, we translated this panel into a clinically applicable assay. The resulting two classifier models demonstrated excellent performance, achieving high AUC values and strong diagnostic accuracy.

A novel power divider made of a coupled slow-wave microstrip line is proposed and its characteristics discussed. The difference between the attenuation constants for even and odd modes in a coupled slow-wave microstrip line are successfully used to eliminate a resistor.

Supersymmetric Elements in Divided Powers Algebras [PDF]
Description of adjoint invariants of general Linear Lie superalgebras $\mathfrak{gl}(m|n)$ by Kantor and Trishin is given in terms of supersymmetric polynomials. Later, generators of invariants of the adjoint action of the general linear supergroup $GL(m|n)$ and generators of supersymmetric polynomials were determined over fields of positive ...
