Compact power dividers [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Radio Electronics, 2021
This article describes a range of compact power dividers - quarter-wave directional couplers, ring divider and Wilkinson coupler. Power dividers in their standard design can take up a significant area at low frequencies. This can adversely affect their use in some applications.

Reduced-size dual band Wilkinson power dividers

open access: yes, 2008
In this paper, two new shaped dual band Wilkinson power dividers are presented. These configurations achieve significant size reduction and very good performance as compared to the conventional dual band Wilkinson power divider.

Therapeutic Apheresis for Intravenous Methylprednisolone‐Refractory Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder: Clinical and Radiological Outcomes in a Single‐Center Case Series

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) is a relapsing autoimmune disease of the central nervous system. High‐dose intravenous methylprednisolone (IVMP) is the standard first‐line therapy for acute attacks, although some patients remain refractory.

An effective method for the determination of the locking range of an injection-locked frequency divider [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
The paper proposes a methodology for the determination of the locking range of an Injection-Locked Frequency Divider. The technique involves the use of the Warped Multi-time scale model and is applicable to oscillators in general.

Dietary Protein Intake and Peritoneal Protein Losses in Peritoneal Dialysis Patients

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Peritoneal dialysis (PD) patients lose protein in their waste dialysate, potentially increasing their risk for malnutrition. We wished to determine whether there was any association between losses and dietary protein intake (DPI). Methods DPI was assessed from 24‐h dietary recall using Nutrics software.

Enteropathogenic E. coli shows delayed attachment and host response in human jejunum organoid‐derived monolayers compared to HeLa cells

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...
