An Unequal Power Divider with Adjustable Dividing Ratio

open access: yesThe Journal of Korean Institute of Electromagnetic Engineering and Science, 2007
In this paper, an unequal 1:N Wilkinson power divider with adjustable dividing ratio is proposed. The proposed unequal power divider is composed of basic Wilkinson structure. It consists of rectangular-shaped defected ground structure (DGS), isolated island pattern in DGS, and varactor diodes of which capacitance depends on bias voltage.

Organoids in pediatric cancer research

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

A system for measuring liquid flow based on heat loss of thick film NTC thermistors [PDF]

open access: yesTehnika, 2015
A system for measuring flow of liquids (water) based on heat loss was formed of two thick film segmented thermistors, power supply with constant voltages RCV, 8 voltage dividers RN, acquisition card and PC with custom IWF software.

A Formalization of Divided Powers in Lean

open access: yesCoRR
Given an ideal $I$ in a commutative ring $A$, a divided power structure on $I$ is a collection of maps $\{γ_n \colon I \to A\}_{n \in \mathbb{N}}$, subject to axioms that imply that it behaves like the family $\{x \mapsto \frac{x^n}{n!}\}_{n \in \mathbb{N}}$, but which can be defined even when division by factorials is not possible in $A$.

Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

An efficient method of designing dual- and wide-band power dividers with arbitrary power division

open access: yes, 2012
Capability of microstrip nonuniform transmission lines (MNTLs) for construction of dual-band and broadband unequal Wilkinson power dividers with arbitrary-way, arbitrary frequency band operations, and arbitrary power divisions is evaluated.

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Design of Length-Saving Multiway Wilkinson Power Dividers

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
A conventional multiway Wilkinson power divider must include transmission lines with a quarter of the wavelength. The prior miniaturized versions can further shorten the quarter-wave lines by adopting synthesized transmission lines, but the resulted ...

Design of ultra-wideband three-way arbitrary power dividers

open access: yes, 2008
A method to design arbitrary three-way power dividers with ultra-wideband performance is presented. The proposed devices utilize a broadside-coupled structure, which has three coupled layers. The method assumes general asymmetric coupled layers.
