Dilation theory for rank two graph algebras. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
An analysis is given of $*$-representations of rank 2 single vertex graphs. We develop dilation theory for the non-selfadjoint algebras $\A_\theta$ and $\A_u$ which are associated with the commutation relation permutation $\theta$ of a 2-graph and, more ...

Design and analysis strategies for robust microbiome ageing research

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The gut microbiome changes with age and associates with age‐related morbidity and mortality, establishing it as a potential biomarker and intervention target for ageing. Realising this potential requires methodological rigour, yet distinguishing biological signals from methodological artefacts remains challenging across cohorts. This review provides an

ZERO FORCING NUMBER AND MAXIMUM NULLITY OF GENERAL POWER GRAPHS [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Algebraic Systems
Let Γ = (V,E) be a simple and undirected graph. General power graph of Γ, shown by Pg(Γ), is a graph with the vertex set P(V (Γ))\ϕ. Also two distinct vertices of B and C are adjacent if and only if every b ∈ B is adjacent to every c ∈ C \{b} in Γ.

Decoding the dynamic extracellular matrix in cancer—3D models and bioscaffolds rewire the rules of tumor progression

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Cancer progression is regulated by the dynamic matrix code of the tumor microenvironment, which influences cellular behavior and disease development. Importantly, matrix remodeling in three‐dimensional cancer models more accurately reflects in vivo conditions compared to conventional two‐dimensional systems.

A Vertex Separator Problem for Power Graphs of Groups

open access: yesMathematics
Given a graph G, an st-connected vertex separator (CVS) problem refers to the search for a minimum connected component in G whose removal leaves the pair of nodes s and t in two disjoint components.

The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.

Bond Graph Based Stability Analysis of a Railway Traction System [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
This paper emphasises the interest of the Bond Graph approach for analysis and system design of heterogeneous and multi-field devices. In particular, the local stability analysis of non linear systems can be directly derived from the linearised Causal ...

Simplicial complexes defined on groups

open access: yesOpen Mathematics
This study makes some preliminary observations towards an extension of current work on graphs defined on groups to simplicial complexes. I define a variety of simplicial complexes on a group, which are preserved by automorphisms of the group, and in many

Some Characterizations and NP-Complete Problems for Power Cordial Graphs

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2023
A power cordial labeling of a graph G=VG,EG is a bijection f:VG⟶1,2,…,VG such that an edge e=uv is assigned the label 1 if fu=fvn or fv=fun, for some n∈N∪0 and the label 0 otherwise, and satisfy the number of edges labeled with 0 and the number of edges ...
