An Improved Analytical Approximation of the Bessel Function J2(x)

open access: yesAxioms
In this paper, we derive an analytical and explicit approximation for the Bessel function J2(x) for positive real x with a maximum absolute error of approximately 0.004, which refines some new published analytic approximation.

THE MODEL OF THE RADIAL-THRUST BALL BEARING FOR ANALYSIS OF NONLINEAR VIBRATIONS OF THE ROTOR [PDF]

open access: yesAvtomobilʹnyj Transport (Harʹkov), 2015
The non-linear model of resilient forces of pre-loaded ball bearing is developed. The contact forces are obtained and arranged in the Heyn’s row on the basis of Herts theory.

Nationwide Survey of Atopic Myelitis and Plexin D1‐Immunoglobulin G‐Related Pain

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To elucidate the features of plexin D1‐immunoglobulin (Ig)G‐associated neuropathic pain and its relationship to atopic myelitis (AM) in a nationwide Japanese survey. Methods A preliminary survey questionnaire was sent to 1574 selected departments (neurology and pediatrics/pediatric neurology) to explore the numbers of AM and plexin ...

Analytical Computation of the Maximum Power Point of Solar Cells Using Perturbation Theory

open access: yesEnergies
To compute the maximum power point (MPP) from physical parameters of the single-diode model (SDM), it is necessary to solve a transcendental equation using numerical methods. This is computationally expensive and can lead to divergence problems.

Network Localization of Fatigue in Multiple Sclerosis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Fatigue is among the most common symptoms and one of the main factors determining the quality of life in multiple sclerosis (MS). However, the neurobiological mechanisms underlying fatigue are not fully understood. Here we studied lesion locations and their connections in individuals with MS, aiming to identify brain networks ...

Deep Learning–Assisted Differentiation of Four Peripheral Neuropathies Using Corneal Confocal Microscopy

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Peripheral neuropathies contribute to patient disability but may be diagnosed late or missed altogether due to late referral, limitation of current diagnostic methods and lack of specialized testing facilities. To address this clinical gap, we developed NeuropathAI, an interpretable deep learning–based multiclass classification ...

Chronological and Spatial Distribution of Skeletal Muscle Fat Replacement in FHL1‐Related Myopathies

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objectives Variants in the FHL1 gene cause FHL1‐related myopathies (FHL1‐RMs), a group of neuromuscular disorders with diverse clinical presentations. This study aimed to comprehensively characterize the spatial and temporal patterns of skeletal muscle fat replacement throughout the whole body in FHL1‐RMs, to examine disease progression over ...
