Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Tuning the Parameters of Power System Stabilizer Using Runge Kutta Algorithm

open access: yesDüzce Üniversitesi Bilim ve Teknoloji Dergisi, 2021
Low-frequency oscillations due to unpredictable disturbances in an interconnected power grid are a serious threat to the stability of the power system. Reliable operation of a modern power system, when exposed to sudden disturbances, is crucial, and the ...

Penalaan Power System Stabilizer (PSS) untuk Perbaikan Stabilitas Dinamik pada Sistem Tenaga Listrik Menggunakan Bat Algorithm (BA) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015

Transcriptional network analysis of PTEN‐protein‐deficient prostate tumors reveals robust stromal reprogramming and signs of senescent paracrine communication

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Synergistic Meta-Heuristic Adaptive Real-Time Power System Stabilizer (SMART-PSS)

open access: yesIEEE Open Access Journal of Power and Energy
Classical fixed-parameter power system stabilizers (PSS) are typically designed to work well for a limited and specific set of operating conditions. However, the integration of low-inertia, inverter-based renewable energy resources (RES) has led to rapid

BAT ALGORITHM IMPLEMENTATION TO OPTIMALLY DESIGN THE STABILIZER POWER SYSTEM ON THE SUPPA GENERATOR

open access: yesJurnal Ilmiah SINERGI, 2019
One of the control devices that can be used to strengthen the performance of PLTU Suppa is the installation of Power System Stabilizer. The problem of using Power System Stabilizer (PSS) in generator excitation is how to determine the optimal PSS ...

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

Design of Power System Stabilizer [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
A power system stabilizer (PSS) installed in the excitation system of the synchronous generator improves the small-signal power system stability by damping out low frequency oscillations in the power system.

Qubits in phase space: Wigner function approach to quantum error correction and the mean king problem [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
We analyze and further develop a new method to represent the quantum state of a system of $n$ qubits in a phase space grid of $N\times N$ points (where $N=2^n$).
