Analisa Proteksi Differensial pada Generator di Pltu Suralaya [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Power plants produce electrical energy that will be distributed to consumers. Hence, the power plant is expected to be in a condition which means it can reliably provide electricity continuously with good quality.

Enhancing the Sensitivity of Power Transformer Differential Protection in Power Systems.

open access: yesZanco Journal of Pure and Applied Sciences
Differential protection is a fundamental protection scheme used to detect and isolate internal faults in power transformers. It works on the principle of comparing the currents entering and leaving the protected zone (transformer).

Overvoltage Protection for High Frequency High Voltage Power Transformers

open access: yesEletrônica de Potência, 2019
Transformers with high-voltage operation may have undesired behavior due to the effects of their parasitic elements. In power electronics applications, if the primary voltage has harmonics, transformer resonances may be excited, causing high primary ...

Bimetallic (NiFe) and Trimetallic (NiFeCr) Nanoalloys from Metal Oxides Using a Microwave Hydrogen Plasma

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Bimetallic (NiFe) and trimetallic (NiFeCr) nanoalloys (NAs) are synthesized using corresponding oxide mixtures using microwave hydrogen plasma within a few milliseconds. The process simultaneously 1) reduces metal oxides to metals; 2) downsizes the particles from micrometers to nanometers; and 3) blends the metals to form NAs.

Analysis of relationship between faults and outer surface temperature of oil-immersed power transformer

open access: yesGong-kuang zidonghua, 2017
Different faults of oil-immersed power transformers were classified with three-layer structure of 'parts-fault causes-temperature rising phenomeno' and the fault causes were summarized, impacts of the different faults on outer surface temperature of ...

Numerical differential protection algorithm for power transformers

open access: yes2013 7th IEEE GCC Conference and Exhibition (GCC), 2013
The differential protective system establishes the main protection against short circuits occurring on transformer windings. This protective system should operate rapidly when internal faults occur. However, it should not operate under nonfault conditions such as a flowing inrush current.

Sustainable Synthesis of Bio‐Based Magnetic and Conductive Wood for Electromagnetic Interference Shielding Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A wood‐based magnetic and conductive material called Magwood (MW), capable of blocking almost 99.99% of electromagnetic waves (in the X‐band frequency range), is synthesized using a simple, solvent‐free process. MW is lightweight, resists water, and is flame‐retardant, making it a promising alternative for shielding electronics. The rapid proliferation

Advancing Electronic Application of Coordination Solids: Enhancing Electron Transport and Device Integration via Surface‐Mounted MOFs (SURMOFs)

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The layer‐by‐layer (LbL) assembly of coordination solids, enabled by the surface‐mounted metal‐organic framework (SURMOF) platform, is on the cusp of generating the organic counterpart of the epitaxy of inorganics. The programmable and sequential SURMOF protocol, optimized by machine learning (ML), is suited for accessing high‐quality thin films of ...
