Electrical and optical characteristics of various PPV derivatives (MEH-PPV, CzEH-PPV, OxdEH-PPV)
Current Applied Physics, 2001Abstract To investigate the electrical characteristics of polymer based light emitting diode (LED) devices, we fabricated the hole transport device (HTD) and the electron transport device (ETD). The ITO and Au with high work function were used as electrodes for the HTD, and the Al and Li:Al with low work function were used for the ETD.

Electroabsorption studies of PPV and MEH-PPV
Optical Materials, 1998Abstract We report the results of an electroabsorption (EA) spectroscopy study of the electronic structure of the conjugated polymer PPV and its soluble derivative MEH-PPV. We find that the EA response of both polymers is dominated by a Stark shift of the 1Bu exciton.

Photoconduction Effect on PPV and MH-PPV Structures
Molecular Crystals and Liquid Crystals, 2002In this paper we present the photoconduction effect of the poly( p -phenylenevinylene) (PPV) and its derivative, the poly[(2-methoxy-5-hexyloxy)-p-phenylenevinylene] (MH-PPV). The structures used to study photoconductivity were prepared using solutions of either PPV-precursor in methanol or MH-PPV in chloroform, both spin-coated on an interdigitated ...

Anisotropic electron mobility in fluorene-PPV and fluorene-MEH-PPV
Molecular Physics, 2016ABSTRACTPolyfluorene copolymers are attractive semiconductor materials, in particular for applications in the organic electronics field. They are versatile to be chemically modified and allow a tuning of the emission to cover the entire visible spectrum.

Radiative recombination studies on PPV and PPV SWNT composites
Synthetic Metals, 2003Luminescence data on PPV and PPV SWNT composites exhibit two main peaks (at 515 and 545nm) whose relative intensities depend on the preparation conditions and on the excitation wavelengths. In general the high energy peak intensity decreases for increasing wavelengths.

Conductivity Studies of MEH-PPV and MEH-PPV∕Super P Films
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2011Poly [2‐methoxy, 5‐(2‐ethyl‐hexyloxy)‐p‐phenylene‐vinylene] (MEH‐PPV) is one of the most widely studied conjugated polymers in the PPV family. MEH‐PPV is a very promising polymer for future applications in organic semiconducting electroluminescent electronic and optoelectronic devices.

Femtosecond Time-Resolved Photoluminescence Measurements of PPV, MEH-PPV and CN-PPV
1996Conjugated polymers based on poly(arylenevinylene)s are of potential technological importance due to their electroluminescence properties1,2. In poly(p-phenylenevinylene) [PPV] and its soluble derivative poly(2-methoxy,5-(2’ethyl-hexyloxy)-p-phenylenevinylene) [MEH-PPV] the luminescence produced after photoexcitation or charge injection is attributed ...
