Evolutionäre, funktionelle und mechanistische Charakterisierung mikrobieller Terpensynthase‐ähnlicher Gene aus Springschwänzen

Eine Genomanalyse zeigte das Vorkommen zahlreicher Terpensynthasen des bakteriellen Typs in Springschwänzen. Vier Enzyme aus Sinella curviseta wurden funktionell charakterisiert, was zur Isolierung mehrerer Verbindungen führte, darunter Sinellenether, der erste identifizierte Diterpenether einer Terpensynthase mit einem neuartigen Grundgerüst.

Ultrasound enables non‐invasive activation of metal‐based therapeutics deep within tumors. Acoustic cavitation can drive sonodynamic reactive oxygen species generation or mechanochemical metal–ligand bond dissociation, enabling controlled release of bioactive payloads.

Setting up mother–infant pair lactation studies with biobanking for research according to regulatory requirements
