Effective PRCs positioning for PAPR reduction using PRCs in OFDM systems [PDF]

open access: yes2009 International Conference on Ultra Modern Telecommunications & Workshops, 2009
In this paper, the effective use of peak reduction carrier (PRC) for PAPR reduction is evaluated. By taking into account the number of PRCs, its position and PRC-to-Data ratio, the recommendation on how to effectively adopt PRC for PAPR reduction is carried out for OFDM systems with sub-carriers from 64 sub-carriers to 8192 sub-carriers.

Limitation of flow effect on passive sampling accuracy using POCIS with the PRC approach or o-DGT: A pilot-scale evaluation for pharmaceutical compounds.

open access: yesChemosphere, 2019
Flow velocity is known to alter passive sampling accuracy. We investigated the POCIS (Polar Organic Chemical Integrative Sampler) with PRC (Performance Reference Compounds) approach and Diffusive Gradients in Thin Films samplers (o-DGT) to limit the ...

Positron range in combination with point-spread-function correction: an evaluation of different implementations for [124I]-PET imaging

open access: yesEJNMMI Physics, 2022
Aim To evaluate the effect of combining positron range correction (PRC) with point-spread-function (PSF) correction and to compare different methods of implementation into iterative image reconstruction for 124I-PET imaging. Materials and methods Uniform

Structural basis of adaptor-mediated protein degradation by the tail-specific PDZ-protease Prc

open access: yesNature Communications, 2017
Peptidoglycan (PG) is a highly cross-linked, protective mesh-like sacculus that surrounds the bacterial cytoplasmic membrane. Expansion of PG is tightly coupled to growth of a bacterial cell and requires hydrolases to cleave the cross-links for insertion

On the Evaluation of Prestress Loss in PRC Beams by Means of Dynamic Techniques

open access: yes, 2018
In the last few decades, prestressing techniques have been used to build very important structures and infrastructures. Since the serviceability and the safety of prestressed reinforced concrete (PRC) elements rely on the effective state of prestressing,
