Treatment of Pre-Eclampsia

PRE-ECLAMPSIA is that stage of toxemia of pregnancy characterized by hypertension, proteinuria and abnormal weight gain or edema. The specific treatment is delivery of the baby. The timing of the delivery and the symptomatic treatment of the mother are the variables that determine the morbidity and mortality of mother and baby.
