Theoretical study of $\gamma$ Doradus pulsations in pre-main sequence stars
The question of the existence of pre-main sequence (PMS) $\gamma$~Doradus ($\gamma$~Dor) has been raised by the observations of young clusters such as NGC~884 hosting $\gamma$~Dor members.

Effect of Time-varying X-Ray Emission from Stellar Flares on the Ionization of Protoplanetary Disks
X-rays have significant impacts on cold, weakly ionized protoplanetary disks by increasing the ionization rate and driving chemical reactions. Stellar flares are explosions that emit intense X-rays and are the unique source of hard X-rays with an energy ...

Massive stars (over 8 solar masses) undergo intricate cosmic journeys. Their evolution, shaped by parameters like stellar wind, rotation velocity, and overshoot, generally includes the pre-main sequence, main sequence, and post-main sequence phases.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Inactive Longitude and Superflare in the Active Single-lined Pre-main-sequence Binary V2279 Cyg
Young, solar-like stars in the pre-main-sequence (PMS) stage exhibit vigorous magnetic activity that significantly influences their circumstellar environments and the processes of planetary formation and evolution.

Magnetic Activity of Pre-main Sequence Stars [PDF]
I review here recent advances in our understanding of magnetic activity in pre-main sequence (PMS) protostars and T Tauri stars. Results are based on recent imaging, spectroscopic and temporal studies of nearby star forming regions from the Chandra X — ray Observatory and XMM — Newton, including a first look at an ultradeep Chandra exposure of the ...

Wide-Field Survey of Emission-line Stars in IC 1396
We have made an extensive survey of emission-line stars in the IC 1396 HII region to investigate the low-mass population of pre-main sequence (PMS) stars.

This study shows that copy number variations (CNVs) can be reliably detected in formalin‐fixed paraffin‐embedded (FFPE) solid cancer samples using ultra‐low‐pass whole‐genome sequencing, provided that key (pre)‐analytical parameters are optimized.
