Effect of Dimensions of Prechamber on Lean Burn Gas Engine.

open access: yesTRANSACTIONS OF THE JAPAN SOCIETY OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERS Series B, 1992
The effect of the dimensions of a prechamber was researched using a medium-sized single-cylinder engine. The air-fuel ratio, A/F, in the prechamber changed quickly, when only gas was supplied to the prechamber. The amount of gas supplied, ignition timing, and A/F in the main chamber were affected by A/F in the prechamber at ignition timing.

Photocatalytic ethanol oxidative dehydrogenation over Pt/TiO 2: Effect of the addition of blue phosphors [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Ethanol oxidative dehydrogenation over Pt/TiO 2 photocatalyst, in the presence and absence of blue phosphors, was performed. The catalyst was prepared by photodeposition of Pt on sulphated TiO 2.

Experimental Investigation on Knock Characteristics from Pre-Chamber Gas Engine Fueled by Hydrogen

open access: yesEnergies
Hydrogen-fueled engines require large values of the excess air ratio in order to achieve high thermal efficiency. A low value of this coefficient promotes knocking combustion.

Looking into the Prechamber of a Lean-Burn Gas Engine.

open access: yesJSME International Journal Series B, 1997
Quartz prechamber models have been installed in a constant volume test rig (CVR) for the investigation of prechamber mixing processes. Planar laser induced fluorescence of acetone has been used for a 2-dimensional visualization of flow structure and quantitative analysis of mixture formation.
