Pickering‐Engineered Microparticles for Magnetically Guided Motion and Light‐Triggered Catalysis

Magnetically responsive wax microparticles stabilized by hematite cubes through the Pickering emulsification strategy are developed, showing controlled size, motion, and light‐activated catalytic activity. Annealing under a magnetic field enhances their mobility and steering.

AbstractPrecipitable water vapor (PWV) can be retrieved from the delayed of the propagating GPS signal through the wet atmosphere. In the experiment, the GPS data in 2009 from the permanent GPS station name of CUSV were used to estimate the amount of integrated vertical water vapor above the GPS station in term of PWV.

Design and Synthesis of Peptide‐Polyester Conjugates for Cell‐Mediated Scaffold Degradation

This work describes polycaprolactone (PCL)‐based biomaterials engineered to degrade in response to cell‐secreted proteases. A fast‐degrading peptide (Fast) sequence is integrated into a PCL conjugate backbone to produce a biomaterial that is selectively degraded by multiple cell types compared to its scrambled control (ScrFast).
