Aspergillus Bronchitis at Localised Mucus Plug in an Immunocompetent Patient. [PDF]
We report a case of Aspergillus bronchitis in an immunocompetent 55‐year‐old woman with a mucus plug at the site of localised bronchiectasis. The mucus plug gradually enlarged over 9 years, when the patient exhibited submissive haemoptysis. Bronchial artery embolization, followed by partial lung resection was performed.

We investigated the clinical impact of chronic pulmonary aspergillosis (CPA) in patients with lung cancer (LC) receiving anticancer drug treatment in a real‐world setting. The cause of death in LC patients with concomitant CPA who received anticancer drug treatments and effective antifungal treatment was LC progression.
