Comparisons of CODE and CNES/CLS GPS satellite bias products and applications in Sentinel-3 satellite precise orbit determination

open access: yesGPS Solutions, 2021
To resolve undifferenced GNSS phase ambiguities, dedicated satellite products are needed, such as satellite orbits, clock offsets and biases. The International GNSS Service CNES/CLS analysis center provides satellite (HMW) Hatch-Melbourne-Wübbena bias ...

Unraveling Mycobacterium tuberculosis acid resistance and pH homeostasis mechanisms

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Mycobacterium tuberculosis exhibits a remarkable resilience to acid stress. In this Review, we discuss some of the molecular mechanisms and metabolic pathways used by the tubercle bacilli to adapt and resist host‐mediated acid stress. Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) is a successful pathogen that has developed a variety of strategies to survive and ...

Primary extranodal diffuse large B‐cell lymphoma: Molecular features, treatment, and prognosis

open access: yesAging and Cancer, Volume 3, Issue 3-4, Page 133-146, September-December 2022., 2022
One‐third of DLBCL arises from extranodal organs and is challenging to manage. Molecular features are critical to elucidate the differences in clinical features, predict the disease prognosis, and improve effective targeted therapeutic strategies. Abstract Diffuse large B‐cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is the most common subtype of non‐Hodgkin's lymphoma and ...

Precise Orbit Determination of Mars-crossing Asteroids

open access: yesThe Astronomical Journal
This study investigates the orbit determination of the Mars-crossing asteroids (MCAs) with a focus on the possibility of detecting their Yarkovsky signals. We analyze the influences of force model uncertainties on MCA orbits, including the uncertainty of

Detectability of quasi-circular co-orbital planets. Application to the radial velocity technique [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Several celestial bodies in co-orbital configurations exist in the solar system. However, co-orbital exoplanets have not yet been discovered. This lack may result from a degeneracy between the signal induced by co-orbital planets and other orbital configurations.

The solution supramolecular structure of α2 → 8 polysialic acid suggests a structural cause for its low immunogenicity

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
α2 → 8 polysialic acid elicits poor immunogenicity. Small‐angle scattering shows a supramolecular structure with parallel‐chain binding, although in different forms at μm and mm calcium. The major histocompatibility complex requires molecular weights around 2000 Da to produce antibodies, and 2000 Da polysialic oligomers will bind in these structures ...

Two-Site Optical Observation and Initial Orbit Determination for Geostationary Earth Orbit Satellites [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Astronomy and Space Sciences, 2010
Optical observation system provides angle-only measurement for orbit determination of space object. Range measurement can be directly acquired using laser ranging or tone ranging system.

Singularities of orthogonal and symplectic determinantal varieties [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2023
Let either $GL(E)\times SO(F)$ or $GL(E)\times Sp(F)$ act naturally on the space of matrices $E\otimes F$. There are only finitely many orbits, and the orbit closures are orthogonal and symplectic generalizations of determinantal varieties, which can be described similarly using rank conditions.

Refining the NaV1.7 pharmacophore of a class of venom‐derived peptide inhibitors via a combination of in silico screening and rational engineering

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Venom peptides have shown promise in treating pain. Our study uses computer screening to identify a peptide that targets a sodium channel (NaV1.7) linked to chronic pain. We produced the peptide in the laboratory and refined its design, advancing the search for innovative pain therapies.
