Fast Calculation for the Flow and Heat Transfer of Tempered Fractional Maxwell Viscoelastic Fluid
This study develops a tempered fractional Maxwell model to simulate unsteady thermal flow in viscoelastic fluids, capturing key rheological behaviors. A fast SOE‐based algorithm is proposed to improve the computational efficiency of the numerical scheme. Results reveal how key parameters influence fluid motion and heat transfer, demonstrating the model'

Regularization methods for the construction of preconditioners for saddle point problems
For the iterative solution of saddle point problems one needs efficient preconditioners to achieve a fast convergence. Three types of preconditioners are presented which are based on regularization by use of an augmented matrix.

Fast iterative methods for sinc systems
We consider linear systems of equations arising from the sinc method of boundary value problems which are typically nonsymmetric and dense. For the solutions of these systems we propose Krylov subspace methods with banded preconditioners.

This work aims to develop a generalised and efficient semi‐analytical method that combines the Laplace decomposition method with Pade approximation (LDMPA) to solve multidimensional nonlinear integro‐partial differential equation. For a one‐dimension case, explicit (closed‐form) solutions for the number density functions are derived for the first time.

Approach to regularization preconditioners for image processing
Preconditioning techniques for linear systems are widely used in order to speed up the convergence of iterative methods. Unfortunately, linear systems arising in image processing are highly ill-conditioned and preconditioners often give bad results ...

Subspace Acceleration for Efficient Nonlinear Water Wave Simulation
We introduce an exponentially weighted subspace acceleration technique to reduce GMRES iterations for solving the Poisson equation with time‐dependent coefficients in nonlinear, dispersive free‐surface flows governed by the incompressible Navier‐Stokes equations. The method significantly reduces memory requirements and computational complexity compared

A comparison of iterative methods for a model coupled system of elliptic equations
Many interesting areas of current industry work deal with non-linear coupled systems of partial differential equations. We examine iterative methods for the solution of a model two-dimensional coupled system based on a linearized form of the two carrier ...

ABSTRACT The ability of organisms to effectively respond to challenges is critical for survival. We investigated how an acute stressor affected corticosterone, mitochondrial function, and DNA oxidative damage in a wild population of Leach's storm‐petrels (Hydrobates leucorhous).
