Early T-cell Precursor Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia/Lymphoma
Surgical Pathology Clinics, 2013Discrete diagnostic subtypes of T lymphoblastic leukemia/lymphoma (T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia/lymphoma, T-ALL) have historically not been widely recognized. Recently, a novel subset with distinctive immunophenotypic, molecular, and clinical features has been proposed.

Recent Developments in the Management of T-Cell Precursor Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia/Lymphoma
Current Hematologic Malignancy Reports, 2012T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia and T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma are uncommon disorders classified together by the World Health Organization classification as "T-lymphoblastic leukemia/lymphoma." This review gives an overview on the treatment of these aggressive but curable T cell malignancies in adult patients, in order to highlight current ...

Early T-cell precursor (ETP) acute lymphoblastic leukemia/lymphoma (ALL) is generally considered to be a high-risk subtype. We retrospectively analyzed the clinical outcomes of adult patients diagnosed with ETP-ALL or other T-cell ALL (non-ETP T-ALL).

Abstract Introduction: Recently, early T-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ETP-ALL) was identified as a subtype of T-cell ALL (T-ALL), with distinctive gene expression and cell marker profiles. Some reports revealed that ETP-ALL was associated with a high risk of remission induction failure and relapse.

An unusual presenting feature of precursor T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia/lymphoma
Annals of Hematology, 2005Precursor T-acute lymphoblastic leukemia/lymphoma (ALL) comprises approximately 20–25% of adult cases of ALL. Precursor T-ALL tends to present in adolescent males as lymphomas and is characteristically presented with a high leukocyte count or large mediastinal mass at initial presentation.

Precursor T-cell lymphoblastic leukemia/lymphoma (T-ALL/LBL) presents a mediastinal mass in one half of cases. Although the immunophenotypic features of T-ALL/LBL have been analyzed in several studies, few studies have been focused on the relationship between the anatomic distribution of lesions and immunophenotypic findings.

This report presents a case of precursor T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia/lymphoma (ALL) involving the uterine cervix, myometrium, endometrium, and appendix. The patient was a 38-year-old woman with a history of ALL who had been in remission for 4 years following chemotherapy.

Abstract Overexpression of Myc oncogenes (c-Myc, N-Myc and L-Myc) is frequently found in a wide range of tumors. Although many reports have shown that Myc can directly induce tumors in mice models, the cell-of-origin of the Myc-induced tumor is still unclear.

Early T-cell precursor lymphoblastic leukemia (ETP-ALL) has a unique immunophenotype with very early T-cell differentiation. The current study summarises the distinct clinicopathological aspects of ETP-ALL and compares them with non-ETP-ALL. Twenty-nine ETP-ALL and 191 non-ETP-ALL cases were retrieved between 2018 and 2021. A P value was determined for
